The Holiday Apartment

The Sky View Apartment is a small but stunning one-bedroom apartment that has been designed to incorporate classic mid-century design with contemporary pieces. It has been furnished using the highest quality fabrics and contemporary pieces. From the dark blue and marble kitchen to the oh-so-cool Soho Home velvet sofa. It sleeps a maximum of two people.

The location is the best you will find in Brighton and is at the top of historic grade one listed Brunswick Square with stunning sea views from the balcony. It is a short walk from the beach and Brighton’s best restaurants, shops and nightlife.

If there’s such a thing as the perfect short-term rental Brighton apartment this might be it. Ideal for couples looking for romance or single occupants in search of solitude or a base to work away from home.

The Living Room
The living room is the perfect place to start the day. Mid-century modern meets Scandi cool, everything from the design-led lamps and lighting to the independently-made artwork has been carefully considered.

The living has a Ruark stereo and an LCD TV that allows streaming. There is a step from the living room which leads to the balcony.

The living room and dining table are comfortable for both relaxing in or working in and the whole apartment has high-speed broadband at 322 Mbps.

The Bedroom

The plush, top-of-the-range hypnos mattress is pocket-sprung and filled with cashmere for comfort. The linen is the highest quality Egyptian cotton. You’re going to sleep really, really well.

The Bathroom

The main bathroom has a bath with over head shower. High-quality Egyptian cotton towels are provided for your use.

The Kitchen

From artisan glassware to high-grade appliances, this is the place for cooking. From Soho Home glassware lining the cupboards to white fine-bone china; the kitchen is fully equipped with whatever you need. Whether it is champagne or cocktail glasses or just a SMEG expresso machine.

The Balcony

The balcony which has been described as ‘magical’ will take your breath away. With cinematic views of the sea and sunset it is the perfect place for enjoying a morning coffee with a freshly baked croissant from the French Patisserie which is located a few doors down. Alternatively, it is the perfect spot to watch the stars with a glass of wine.

Please note there is a stunning sea view here from the balcony but there is not a sea view from inside the property itself.

Location

It is centrally located and within a one-minute walk from the beach and many of the best restaurants and bars in Brighton and Hove. In a ten-minute walk, you can reach almost all of the main tourist and shopping facilities in Brighton. These include Brighton Sealife Centre, The Palace Pier, The Royal Pavillion, the Historic Lanes shopping area, and the best nightlife. Brighton’s Theatre Royal and Kemptown; making this Brighton holiday apartment the perfect place to stay. The conference centre is only a 5-minute walk away along the beach.

There is a direct and frequent bus service to Sussex University and a bus connection also locally to Seven Sisters. Brighton and Hove stations are both about 15 minute walk away.

Parking is available outside the building and in the neighbouring square and is via a daily permit system which currently costs £13 a day. There is also pay and display parking on the seafront.

Things to note

The magnificent 200-year-old lift that is used to access the apartment rarely breaks down. Nonetheless, it still happens very occasionally, so this property is not suitable for people with mobility impairments that prevent them from using stairs.

The apartment is not suitable for children or pets and is non-smoking. Book direct on this site to get the best prices.

Getting there

Arriving by Car

Please note Brighton is located at the bottom of the A23. To avoid tourist traffic on entering Brighton it is quickest to reach the apartments by travelling via Dyke Road Avenue. To access the south section of Brunswick Place you need to access it via the seafront and by travelling to the top of Brunswick Square.

Arriving by Train

The train station is about a mile away. However the route from Brighton station is very hilly and with bags, you may prefer to catch a taxi which costs £10. The bus service from the station is the number 7 and leaves approximately every 15 minutes, This costs just under £7 each way. From London, trains leave from Victoria and London Bridge very frequently and take an hour. Trains from Gatwick take 35 minutes and are also very frequent.
